God Will Rescue Me

I hope your week is going well. So far you haven’t needed your brand new, wooden handled, wind resistant, auto-open, beautifully designed, Liberty umbrella…. but spring isn’t over yet. Hope you were there Sunday to receive yours. (see, ya never know what you’ll miss at church.)
The Easter service was really special too. The singing was great and the Spirit was seemingly tangible. He always blesses our efforts to worship Him!!
I hope you were blessed by the message “3 Days Beyond Hopelessness”. Hopefully, we will have the video on the website soon.
Be Encouraged……
In John 11:21, Martha said to Jesus, “If you had been here, my brother would not have died.” Martha was experiencing ‘beyond hopelessness.’ Her brother was dead now and Jesus had not been there. He wasn’t aware of her needs, problems, or sufferings. Where was He when she was in such need of Him? Surely she had called for Him urgently!!! But He was not there!!! This struggle had taken several days and she had dealt with the fear, uncertainty and helplessness seemingly all alone. Why was He absent / silent when she so needed Him? This exhausting hopelessness continued, not one, not two, not even three, but into the fourth day. She must have certainly felt that her time of rescue had long past. How could God do anything now….it’s over….finished….the devil has won and I have lost.
But God says in His Word in Psalms 91:14 , ” Because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.” Remember, it is NEVER too late for God to do, or undo, the things you, His children, have need of in your life. If He NEVER leaves you, then He ALWAYS knows what you’re going through. Though He may be silent beyond comfortable, He is there and He is still in charge!!! As Daniel had been in the lion’s den all night…. As Moses and all Israel was against the wall at the Red Sea, BE STILL, and see Him do what you thought was impossible!!!
He works best under pressure !!!
